Everything about Andrew Mcgahan totally explained

Andrew McGahan (born 1966) is an Australian novelist. Born in Dalby, Queensland, the ninth of ten children, he was educated at the local school and then at Marist College Ashgrove for years 11 and 12. He commenced an Arts degree at the University of Queensland but dropped out after only one month to return home to work on the family wheat farm. His first novel, Praise, won the Australian/Vogel Literary Award in 1991, a success that launched him on a full-time writing career.
   He currently lives in Victoria and in his spare time has become quite an accomplished cook. He plans to release a cook book in the not too distant future, of broadly Asian Cuisine.

McGahan has won numerous literary awards, including:
